Acura has unveiled the highly anticipated Integra Type S, a performance-oriented variant of its popular Integra sedan. The Type S boasts an array of upgrades developed by Acura's renowned Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) racing division.
The Integra Type S features a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that produces 306 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission or an optional 10-speed automatic transmission.
The Type S also receives a host of chassis upgrades, including a stiffer suspension, larger brakes, and a limited-slip differential. These enhancements provide improved handling and stability on the road or track.
In addition to its performance upgrades, the Integra Type S comes with a range of exclusive styling cues, such as a unique front grille, rear spoiler, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The interior features sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a premium audio system.
Acura has not yet announced pricing or availability for the Integra Type S, but it is expected to go on sale later this year.
